Hazem Wefy is an Egyptian writer, poet, screenwriter, and graduate of the Faculty of Arts, Department of English Language. He has written songs for popular bands and artists such as Wust El Balad, Cairokee, Hamza Namira, and Ali El Haggar. His notable works include songs like "Antika," "Shams El Nahar," "Am Gharib," "Ensan," and "Mawlood Sanaa 80."
Wefy has two collections of colloquial poetry: Harf El Meem (2014) and Hara, Heita w Arabeya (2018), and authored the book Shakespeare Al Asheq (2023). As a screenwriter, he contributed to the films Zarf Tarek and Belmondo and the TV series Ard Khas.
